Waah... Nothing like a pre-noon workout on DDR and some new indies bands to make Ryoko a very happy summer vacationer. (Granted, school starts in a week, but we can forget about that.) Wow. Wow wow wow. I'd forgotten how cool Phobia really is! I was looking through last year's Expect Rush, and BAM, there they were! I thought the name sounded familiar, and in the midst of making a list of the bands I have Mp3s of for Miyuki (who lost her entire hard drive... o.o), I found that I have nine mp3s! All RIGHT! ^_^ They're like Kagerou meets... I don't know. But they're COOL! (Note to the guys - You'll hate them. They scream. Lots.) I still can't find my denki jisho, and this is starting to really worry me. I need to either go clean my room some more, or look downstairs... :p And my Child Language Aquisition class was cancelled, and Art Photography I is full... *mutters under her breath* GAH! No thoughts of school!

Phenomenally weird... Well, anyone who was helping me make plans for Japan this summer will remember that I talked to a travel agent who told me her daughter liked visual kei... and talked for quite a while at that! I thought, "Oh WOW, cool!" and really wanted to finally meet somone like that... (I live in Montana, people, give me a break!) Well, guess who it turned out to be! MIYUKI! The one I met at the concert! (I know you're probably reading this, but I must rave about you. This is WEIRD!) This is waaay too f-ing weird. Too weird. Too. Damn. Weird.

Hmm... Teags and I made a lot of plans today. ^^ I finished signing up for classes and had to put Psych in there. >.< Didn't want to, but hey. If it wasn't for that class, all of my classes both semester would've stayed in the Performing Arts (PA) wing! Hmmm... you people know my half-baked (haha, no pun intended) idea to open an international bakery someday? Teagan totally wants to go in on it with me! Wheee! Her idea - on the bottom floor of the MnI apartment building! Oh eM Gee! ^^() Sounds goood. And we've got psych together, not to mention Art Photography 1 every Thursday evening! (Plus a two hour lab somewhere in there.)
And then there's the fact that I found the perfect lip ring today! <3 It's kinda like Miyavi's - the open circle with a bead on either end, and they're clear with sparkles! Yaaaay! The other one I want has little clear plastic spikes, and apparently I can just buy the little spikes? Oh, and I have to get a spike labret, too. ^^ Woooo! Maybe online. Or maybe I can order it at The Lizard... we'll have to see. :p

I've decided, I'm getting a modchip. But someone most definitely needs to tell me if installation is as hard as some of my friends have said. It's only a PS1 for goddesssakes! ¬.¬ Good grief! I just need some real DDR goodness, not the American craaap!

I've been a-brushin' up on my DDR skillz... I took a break 'cause it's HOT HOT HOT here and now my little sister is brushing up so we can go together. She's doing 'Higher'... That worries me. I thought she was better than I was! But anyway, I just did about the first ten songs on Konamix on basic, and the only one I had problems with is the same one as always. Afronova Primeval... >.< Wish me luck!

It's beenn two weeks since I got my lip pierced! I can now officially switch mah lip ring, I think. I think. I'd better check on that.... <.< But yay, nonetheless! I've been told that this lipring (the one used for the piercing) doesn't suit me all that well. I think I'm going to go for a Miyavi-style one. ^^

I have decided that Furu is the coolest EVER. The coolest musician, artist, lyricist... you name it. I just watched the second half of VVSingles, VVLive Sparky, and part of VVRare Mono Live, and he is AMAZING! PVs that everyone should see - Looser Sugar, Chain Drug, and Cullucoo Vision. (And that is to name only VERY few!) I want Furu's outfits! Looking at his crazy clothes, hats and makeup makes me want to go clothes designing craazy! And listening to Guniw Tools' music makes me want to write write write... It's so damn inspiring! I am artistically refreshed! My lip is feeling a bit better... This is good.

Silk Soymilk is not bad at all, but I'm still sleep deprived. Lip rings can itch, and that probably means they're healing. But if eyes cause headaches with contacts in, it probably means a wrong prescription. (Too strong doesn't seem all that likely, does it...) Ga-bera is the name of a Plastic Tree song, but gerbera is a type of flower. Same with Salvia. What's with these horrible flower names? I WANT MURDER FREAKS! However, listening to old Sailor Moon music not only brings back memories, but makes me happy. Going to see Sera Myu brought back some of my great Sailor Moon Japanese vocabulary, such as 'tatakau'. La Soldier is a great song. I like Teagan's shampoo on the go. (At her mom's house.)

Just talked to Sana-chan on the phone... good gods are we getting stoked for Japan! I'm completely and totally irritated at how slowly time is going by. (Yeah, I know. The sooner I get to bed, the sooner tomorrow will come. But two hours on the phone with an old friend...? We don't pass this up!) I have bug bites all over, and I need to buy myself a 'Mousti click'. Hajime is here right now... giving me a back rub. ^^ Well, he just left. He tried multiple times to open the door the wrong way and I think it bruised his ego. Awww... ^^ What a cutie. So yeah, I really need to get to bed. I fell asleep with Evanescence playing on my laptop today... And then it got shut down somehow... Hibernation, maybe? o.0 I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to take it to Japan with me. >.<
Oh yeah, Steephie and Terra - Can you guys be at Finnegans at 11-11:30? Lizzie will be there, and we should get there in that time frame!!! Love you both!

Still sick. Still pissed off. Still overheated. Not a particularly good weekend, after all. I got to sleep at around midnight last night and didn't get out of bed until 1 this afternoon. It's so hot here... o.o My eyes feel funny again, so I think I'm going to go read/finish 'Memoirs of a Geisha.' I only have two hours of off time left, anyway. >.
